I started skiing in Slovakia, the country rich of natural beauties, including great skiing areas. Besides large ski areas in High and Low Tatras there are countles small ski areas in the mountains around the country. Skiing sure belongs to many outdoors passions that Slovak people like to enjoy. I was fortunate to experience the "best snow on Earth" as they say it in Utah. Indeed, it is difficult to find any alternative to this incredibly light, crispy powder snow one can ski several months in the Winter season in Wasatch or Uintas Mountains.
